Joy Block

Items You Need:
  • Block of wood
  • Raffia
  • Paper
  • Paint/ Paintbrush
  • Mod Podge
Directions:
  • Paint the piece of wood
  • Sand the edges after it dries
  • I didn't have a fancy cutting machine so I chose a font I liked from Microsoft Word, wrote JOY, printed it off and cut it out.  I traced it on my nice paper and cut it out again.
  • Mod Podge the letters on by layering the glue on the front of the block, place the letters, and layer the Mod Podge over it all.
  • Once it all dries, tie raffia around and make a bow on top.
